ANR TRANSMED

MISTRALS General Assembly
The MISTRALS General Assembly will be held in Malta on the historic campus of the University of Malta in Valletta, March 13, 2012. This meeting follows the international launch of MISTRALS, in the continuity of the Malta Declaration proclaimed in April 2011. The meeting will be devoted to the positioning of partner countries in the co-construction of MISTRALS.

ECOCEM campaign in Lebanon
Supported by Mistral, the ECOCEM project aims to explore the chemical composition of the Beirut atmosphere in gaseous and particulate organic carbon. MOOSE oceanographic campaign
MOOSE (Mediterranean ocean observing system on environment) MOOSE objective is to track the water mass, the thermohaline circulation and the flow of matter in the Nrth West Mediterranean Sea. Application for thesis fellowships at IRD

ESF Call for Conference Proposals
The European Science Foundation invites researchers to submit proposals for research conferences to take place in 2013. The call covers Molecular Biology, Physics/Biophysics, Environmental Sciences, Social Sciences and Humanities. Malta Declaration

Gozo International BioDivMeX Workshop

As part of the MISTRALS pan-Mediterranean initiative and in the framework of the cooperation between France’s CNRS Institute of Ecology and Environment and the University of Malta, the second international BioDivMeX workshop (Biodiversity of the Mediterranean eXperiment), entitled “Gozo International Biodivmex Workshop: Mediterranean Biodiversity, Conservation and Sustainable Development”, will be held from 9 to 15 September 2012 in Gozo, Malta.
